Jori Ketten works as a photographer, videographer, documentarian, designer, dancer, teacher, mentor, coordinator, grant writer, facilitator, curriculum designer, and a few other things. She mainly works (and lives) in Providence, RI but travels often. Jori has been fortunate to work extensively with the ArtsLiteracy Project at Brown University, RISD's Project Open Door, Community MusicWorks and the Providence Youth Arts Collaborative organizations (Providence, RI); the Point CDC (Bronx, NY); and Liz Lerman Dance Exchange (Washington, D.C.).

Jori's current focus is on facilitating reflective practice in youth arts environments. She has presented work at Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Tufts University. Jori's photographs have been featured in print and online materials of The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Providence Journal, The New Haven Register, Women's Studies Quarterly, Teaching Artist Journal, renowned Hasidic reggae musician Matisyahu, Habla: The Center for Language and Culture (Merida, Mexico), and Providence organizations such as Better X Design, Community MusicWorks, the Gamm Theatre, the Providence Black Repertory Company, and RISD.

Jori graduated with honors from Brown in 2002 with a B.A. of her own design in Education through Arts and a second concentration in Education History and Policy. She is a member of the board of the Hive Archive, a collective of women artists in Providence, and is an occasional guest instructor of Mande dance (the Dance Complex, Cambridge, MA; Motion Center, Providence, RI; Brown University) and Vinyasa yoga (Motion Center, Providence, RI).
