As an educator, coordinator, and documentarian, Jori Ketten has been fortunate to work extensively with the ArtsLiteracy Project at Brown University, RISD's Project Open Door, the Providence Black Repertory Company, Community MusicWorks and the other Providence Youth Arts Collaborative organizations: AS220 Youth, New Urban Arts, Everett Dance TheatreÕs Carriage House School, and Providence CityArts for Youth (Providence, RI); the Harvard School of Public Health (Boston, MA); the Point CDC (Bronx, NY); and Liz Lerman Dance Exchange (Washington, D.C.). She is currently the Media Lab Director at Community MusicWorks and involved in a variety of other project-based work in and around Providence, RI. Her current focus is exploring documentation as artistic practice and the thoughtful incorporation of documentation into youth arts organizations' teaching methodologies.

Jori has presented her work at Brown University, RISD, and Tufts University. Her photographs have been published in print and/or online materials of The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The Providence Journal, and The New Haven Register. Jori's images also have been published on the cover of professional journals Women's Studies Quarterly and Teaching Artist Journal and featured on the websites of artists and organizations such as Hasidic reggae musician Matisyahu, Habla: The Center for Language and Culture (Merida, Mexico), Better X Design, the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, the Gamm Theatre, and the above-mentioned organizations. She is a member of the board of the Hive Archive, a collective of women artists in Providence.

Jori graduated with honors from Brown in 2002 with a B.A. of her own design in Education through Arts and a second concentration in Education History and Policy.
