The Design Office: Jeremy Mickel

Biography:
Jeremy Mickel runs Mickel Design, a creative agency specializing in print and identity design with an emphasis on custom typography for clients in the cultural, social, and business sectors.
In addition to producing print collateral, identity systems, and packaging designs, Jeremy draws typefaces. The Router family was released by village in July 2008.
Jeremy brings to the table his skills in graphic and type design, as well as the ability to write about himself in the third person.
Jeremy moved to Providence, R.I. in August 2008 to accompany his partner, Joe Waechter, who is attending grad school at Brown for playwriting. As negotiated beforehand, Jeremy was to get a puppy in exchange for moving to Rhode Island. 'Lucy' the French bulldog has been the Office since September of 2008.
